When you join our Forest Products Team as an Account Engineer (all genders) based in Frankfurt/Germany or Stockholm/Sweden, you have the ability to demonstrate your engineering background to help clients neutralize potential disaster - saving property, businesses and lives. Our experts provide technical guidance and support to continuously understand, improve, and mitigate fire and explosion or boiler and machinery hazards in the pulp & paper industry. Our experts are resources for FM and our clients in the pulp & paper industry, collaborating with internal business units, external codes and standards developing agencies, industry groups, service companies and equipment manufacturers to strengthen our property loss prevention knowledge and risk solutions. What you can expect: The successful candidate will be responsible for fostering long-term customer engineering relationships and sustainable risk improvement plans that meet both, the clients and FM’s needs through consistently demonstrating the value-added differential of FM for Frankfurt-based, as well as connected business accounts and through partnering with other FM teams (e.g. Field Engineering, Underwriting, Claims, New Business Development). Other responsibilities include: Evaluate and assess the nature, probability, and magnitude of potential losses, and communicate them to a client / prospect and the account team. Accurately assess and evaluate account wide risk information and exposures and help the client understand hazards and risk to their business. Develop, communicate, influence, and execute effective mitigation strategies to achieve mutually agreeable risk improvement in line with FM’s corporate objectives.Effectively manage change at corporate level including effective project management. Provide professional advice and consultation to all clients on risk management matters, making them aware of the benefits derived from various products and services offered by FM. In conjunction with Account Managers, establish risk improvement priorities and support efforts to obtain client compliance with loss prevention recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor''s degree in engineering. Pulp & Paper industry knowledge is required Sound knowledge of engineering principles and proficient knowledge of electrical, mechanical and pressure equipment of the pulp and paper industry (e.g. steam boilers, BLRBs, batch digester, steam turbine generator units, pulp and/or paper machines, etc.). Excellent communication, presentation, sales, time management, analytical and teamwork skills. Ability to balance attention to detail with focus on key objectives and effective problem solving and decision-making skills. Fluency in German and English for the Frankfurt based position and fluency in Swedish and English for the Stockholm based position - both written and oral. Additional languages are a plus.
