Prüftechnik Non-Destructive Testing is immersed in a transformation process to create a new GTMM, and therefore is looking for a Global Sales Director. In this role, you will be able to form and develop a new regional structure with 3 major regional hubs in AMERICAS, APAC, and EMEA consisting of Middle East Africa and Turkey (MEAT), Region EU-South (France, Italy, and Iberia), Region EU-North (UK & Ireland, BeNeLux and Nordic Countries), Region EU-DACH (Austria, Switzerland, Germany and CEE).
Each Region is managed by a hands-on Regional Sales Manager (RSM) together with one or more local (senior) Country Sales Managers who manage and support both End User/Key Accounts and Partners.
To promote our NDT Solutions, the Global Sales Director works together with Regional Managers, visits key end-customers, helps to execute the defined strategy, supports to close top opportunities, and also plays a key role in the relation between regions and the different functions within the company.
The Global Sales Leader is actively involved in the daily sales processes of the countries reporting into them to achieve the monthly/quarterly and annual targets in line with regional growth objectives.
Primary Function / Major Responsibility:
1. Prepare annual/quarterly regional business plans and manage the sales budget for the assigned region.
2. Initiate and implement, in close cooperation with Country Managers, country sales plans to implement the strategy and GTMM ensuring we achieve our targets and objectives.
3. Manage this business based on figures/facts and KPI’s which will be weekly/monthly reviewed with their team. If required, action plans will be implemented and followed up weekly.
4. Implement Value Selling and Challenger sales techniques as well as other FBS (sales growth related) tools within this team.
5. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience:
1. Preferably a Bachelor/master’s degree in business administration or engineering.
2. Experience in the Non-destructive testing Industry.
3. Consistent overachievement of quarterly/yearly sales personal (or team) targets.
4. Experience in working for a public listed company / Fortune 500.
5. Excellent language skills (verbal and written): German and English.
6. Ability to prioritize quickly to focus on the critical few and drive action.
7. Willing and able to move out of their comfort zone and not afraid of standing alone.
8. Dedicated to using FBS tools and Core Value Drivers to design, manage, and measure work.
9. Able to work with different management levels as well as internally and externally.
10. In daily work, very well structured and strong “sales processes” driven to drive the team to double-digit growth figures.
