Your team
The Human Resources department makes sure the organisation creates an environment where employees will thrive and be motivated to ensure the company success.
Your role
You will be responsible for handling payroll and HR Operations for our three entities in Frankfurt. You have extensive expertise in payroll, finance and accounting, with a strong background in HR and operations.
Payroll management
• Instruct, coordinate and oversee monthly payroll cycles in collaboration with our external payroll provider.
• Prepare payroll files, verify salary accuracy and release payments to employees.
• Implement and propose controls to ensure payroll and accounting data quality.
• Perform monthly reconciliations between payroll data, accounting records and bank accounts.
• Stay current with local payroll regulations, social security, employee benefits and personal tax laws.
Employee lifecycle management
• Execute all employee lifecycle events (onboarding, transfers, international mobility, offboarding).
• Coordinate with the International Mobility & Benefits Advisory team for geographical mobility, and with Compensation Advisory Services team for employee remuneration data.
• Prepare employee reference letters and employment references.
• Handle employee benefits (health insurance, pension scheme, profit-sharing, company cars, etc.).
HR data management
• Administer time management and employee data in SAP HR.
• Manage German-specific HR processes (e.g. A1 certificates, taxation of travel days abroad, insolvency protection PSVAG).
• Ensure compliance with labour law and with material risk takers (MRT) and BAFIN regulations related to compensation.
Profile description:
Your profile
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or equivalent.
• At least 8 years of experience in payroll management and accounting practices, preferably in the banking industry.
• Proficiency in SAP HCM (PA, OM, ESS) and standard office software.
• Excellent command of English and German.
• Strong analytical skills in terms of controls, check and balances, numerical reporting.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
