At Bauhaus Earth we seek to transform building and human settlements from a driver of climate and societal crises into creative forces for systemic regeneration. We believe that only a complete systemic overhaul of our built environment will prevent a global climate and social catastrophe. Since 2022, Experimental Foundation and Bauhaus Earth are supporting Fellows in the development of projects that contribute to the implementation of the building turnaround through the impact of design expression and architectural quality.
Student assistants at the Fellowship Program support the development and management of the program content, organization and communication while working closely with both the project leads and the Fellows throughout the development of their applied research. More info on the Program here:
Your mission
* Conduct research in sustainable architectural design, building materials, and construction;
* Support the process of design, planning, and construction of prototypes in Fellowship projects;
* Organise events such as workshops and exhibitions;
* Create social media content related to the Fellowship Program.
Your profile
We are looking for someone who:
* is highly motivated, well-structured, and proactive; willing to work in an interdisciplinary research team;
* is genuinely interested in Bauhaus Earth research topics (e.g., material value chains, circularity, LCA);
* is currently enrolled in a M.A. or M.Sc. program in architecture, urban design, or a related field;
* is highly proficient in written and spoken English (essential). Proficiency in German is not required but would be a significant advantage;
* has strong representation and communication skills (graphic, text, mixed media);
* works swiftly with Adobe Creative Suite, Miro, Microsoft 365, and Google Drive (knowledge of CAD and GIS is desirable).

* Payment according to TV/L Brandenburg: BA students 13,25 € - 13,98 €; MA students 13,83 € - 14,59 €
