The Business Unit Europe Africa is one of the largest of TK Elevator’s six Business Units. Its Regional Business Support Center is in Dusseldorf, Germany, from where it coordinates activities in 20+ countries, as well as a distributor network in Africa. This unit handles the sale, installation, servicing, and modernization of elevators, escalators, and moving walks. In select markets, the portfolio also includes home lifts and the service of automatic doors. In the fiscal year 2022/2023, the Business Unit had about 14,000 employees and generated sales of around 2.4 billion euros. Responsibilities:
* You will lead and govern Field Supply chain processes and projects End-to-End in our region Europe Africa (EA).
* You will drive automation and transformation initiatives within Europe in close collaboration with Field Operations, Finance, and the global teams.
* You will be the main business counterpart of the IT, including budget responsibility and governance.
* You will supervise and coordinate business process owners across various process streams.
* You will engage frequently with the EA Senior Leadership Team to report the status of projects and financial governance.
* You will shape the future vision of EA's role in regard to processes, systems, and digitization.
* You will functionally lead and collaborate with operational shared service centers as an extension into the countries.
* You will ensure the transfer of best practices around business excellence across the different entities.
* You own part of the process landscape and step in case of escalations.
Qualifications:
* You hold a university degree or have an equivalent qualification.
* You bring in at least 10 years of experience in supply chain strategy and transformation with a strong focus on E2E processes.
* You have a strong affinity with IT systems (CRM, FSM & ERP) in addition to digital tools (e.g. SNOW, Opentext, etc.).
* You bring in prior experience within the service manufacturing industry.
* You understand how to effectively manage (international) projects and have prior experience in this domain.
* You can communicate clearly and approach challenges with solution-oriented strategies.
* You are willing to travel and be present for on-site project meetings.
