Be seen, be understood, be you. The Sales Manager leads Cision’s Sales team in the DACH region, driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and account management. This role focuses on expanding market reach, optimizing cross-selling strategies, securing renewals of existing clients, and developing a high-performing sales team. Duties and Responsibilities: Drive the consistent achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business goals. Provide coaching to the team through one-on-one meetings, team meetings, call shadowing, and call coaching with a focus on improving call quality, deal advancement, and forecasting. Coach and enforce training on sales methodologies, techniques, internal operations, and product lines. Deliver accurate forecast reports on a weekly and monthly basis, based on standardized sales stages and manager opportunity notes to the director. Maintain and expand positive interdepartmental communication and teamwork, ensuring seamless client experiences. Assist with client outreach when necessary. Actively participate in the recruitment process: interviewing, hiring, and onboarding new team members. Develop and maintain a high-performing team focused on expanding Cision’s customer base through new logo acquisitions. Key Skills and Competencies: Highly entrepreneurial, dynamic sales, and management leader with versatility in both new business and account management. Proven ability to achieve revenue targets with at least two years of experience in a management or team leadership sales role. Expertise in diagnosing customer needs and translating those into actionable, product-driven solutions. Deep understanding of the Cision Product Suite: Cision ONE, PR Newswire, Brandwatch, etc. Strong ability to build and communicate compelling value propositions, with proven success in developing, negotiating, and closing business. Experience in utilizing and teaching a sales methodology - Solution Selling preferred. Proficiency in Salesforce.com. Previous experience selling SaaS products. BA/BS required; Master’s or MBA a plus.
