iO Associates is currently partnered with a dynamic start-up in Bochum specialised in machinery manufacturing that is seeking a Sachbearbeiter(in) responsible for the smooth operation of their Bochum office, with a focus on processing relevant purchase orders and invoices.
Due to the nature of the role my client is looking for fluent German speaker, ideally with background in finance, accounting, or purchasing.
Requirements:
* Fluency in English and German is essential.
* Previous experience in office management or similar roles
* Ideally, previous experience in processing invoices or placing purchase orders.
* A proactive individual who can work independently and improve office processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Purchasing Oversight: Manage and optimise the procurement of engineering materials ensuring cost-effective purchasing and timely availability of all necessary materials.
* Office Administration: Manage daily operations, schedules, and correspondence to keep the office running smoothly.
* Supplies & Facilities Management: Oversee the ordering and maintenance of office supplies and equipment, ensuring everything is functional and available.
* Vendor Coordination: Handle relationships with external suppliers and managing contracts and deliveries.
* Reception & Support: Greet visitors, manage calls, and support the team with event planning and logistical tasks.
