Job purpose:
The Product Portfolio Director will be accountable for generating profitable and sustainable growth by leveraging his/her E2E accountability from need/idea to market launch through the system lifecycle to end-of-life.
Your missions:
1. Takeover of the global product portfolio Wiring Accessories and lead its Product Management team, being accountable for the success and profitability in implementing common financial and non-financial goals and mastering "product marketing" as a customer-centric approach.
2. Orchestrate and motivate the cross-functional team managing and developing the portfolio with the goal of implementing a high-performance organization and performance-oriented culture. Set priorities and actively support the change process.
3. Develop a mid-term holistic portfolio strategy for the expansion of the business in line with group strategy and pivotal market area needs. Define and manage the connectivity roadmap, integrating customer, product and solution requirements, as well as standards, regulations and technological evolutions.
4. Create a unique customer experience via reworking the current products and creating space for new innovative products and services which sets industry benchmark and laying foundation also for recurrent revenues.
5. Monitor the product lifecycle, prioritize and decide on all development requirements and define and deliver the specific portfolio on time and reliably.
6. Initiate, support and monitor local sales activities to achieve common business goals and orchestrate the portfolio’s activities with all adjacent functional areas.
Your profile:
1. Technical degree (electrical, electronics, computer science, industrial engineering) with a deep experience in digital product management.
2. You have strong knowledge in product life cycle management and are customer oriented.
3. As an entrepreneurial and international manager, you are able to drive transformation projects and work with cross functional teams.
4. Convincing leader and innovator with a creative mindset, who has a positive attitude towards new ideas and challenges and who is and drives them forward with passion.
5. Excellent analytical skills and with a strategic vision, you are also ready to structure things.
Travel is expected.
