The aim of this recruitment is to support the team in charge of the "Airport Safety" area. ++++ Your responsibilities Your daily tasks Being responsible for the Safety Management System (SMS), its development, implementation, promotion and continuous improvement. Assuming the responsibility of Safety Postholder in accordance with the EASA definition Ensuring a Safety Assessment methodology is present, up to date and known, approval/participation of major Safety Assessments Deciding on, following up of or even leading major Safety Investigations. Ensuring Safety KPIs are defined monitored and correct action taken. Managing the safety department (budget, training programs, meetings, priority settings, decision making), consisting of sr Expert, Analyst and Admin Support Defining, ensure the development and approve safety related trainings Management of the hazard log and informing the Accountable Manager in case of changes in hazards on the aerodrome Being the nominated person for safety in accordance with the EASA definition Monitoring and analysing safety occurrence reporting and follow up Providing advice on safety related matters to the Accountable Manager Chairing and participating in safety related meetings such as the Airside Safety Teams, Local Runway Safety Teams, Internal Safety Review Boards and regular safety follow up meetings internally and with the stakeholders Providing advice on safety related matters to the different departments, stakeholders and complex projects. Being the contact with the CAA on safety related topics Providing support to stakeholders in the safety aspects of change management and ensuring proper coordination with the relevant authority.
