The Petrochemicals division is the starting point of BASF's global petrochemical value creation. With six integrated sites and additional production facilities, we are present in the largest chemical markets worldwide. We supply various value chains within the company and a wide range of external customers with high-quality chemicals that are used in applications such as PET bottles, antifreeze, hygiene products, and insulation materials. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Become part of our unit and support the global product management and strategy team with the aim to improve the pricing, portfolio and strategic decision-making based on world-class market information.
* As part of selected work packages, you will support the further development of our hygiene strategy.
* With insight: Together with colleagues from Controlling, Sales and Marketing, you will analyze, consolidate and translate market data and business information.
* You will also update trade data in collaboration with central functions and prepare it for various areas of application.
* Last but not least, you will create user-friendly reports and thus contribute to the decision-making process in our company.
WHAT YOU OFFER
* ongoing studies in economics, marketing, controlling, data analysis or a related field
* initial experience in dealing with data analysis and reporting, ideally through internships or study projects
* confident proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, additional knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI) is considered an advantage
* very good English and German language skills
* strong analytical skills as well as the ability to work in a team and strong communication skills, combined with an independent and structured way of working
