About the role:
Corporate IT & Data Solutions (CIDS) is responsible for all internally focussed tools regarding our enterprise value chain. The major products in this enterprise value chain are Salesforce, SAP (4HANA) and our in house built Corporate Data Management.
The role
In the architecture of SD Worx Enterprise tooling, our Lead to Cash environment plays a crucial role. We are seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our CPQ team and focus on optimizing our product and pricing catalogue. This role is essential for maintaining the integrity of product and pricing information, which in turn supports various business functions and contributes to overall organizational success.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for a passionate and experienced Business Analyst to analyse business processes in an international environment and make recommendations for Automation to improve the operational efficiency.
• Maintain and update the product catalogue, ensuring all product information is accurate, consistent, and up to date.
• Develop and enforce data standards and guidelines for product information.
• Manage and update pricing information for products, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business strategies.
• Analyze pricing data to identify trends and opportunities for pricing optimization.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including marketing, sales, finance, and IT teams, to gather and document business requirements related to product and pricing data.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for product information management (PIM) and pricing systems.
• Conduct regular audits of the product and pricing catalogue to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Implement processes to improve data quality and consistency.
• Work with our Product Team to implement and enhance PIM and pricing systems.
• Ensure that the systems support the business needs and improve efficiency in managing product and pricing data.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide insights into product and pricing data for stakeholders.
• Analyze product and pricing data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and support strategic decision-making.
• Maintain business process documentations that will be used as a reference for preparing test cases and training documents
• Train team members on best practices for managing product and pricing data.
• Provide ongoing support to ensure adherence to data standards and guidelines.
• Keeping informed about the developments in the Enterprise Tooling technology stack, including all innovations that are included in future releases
Educational / Skill / Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree, in Communications or another related field or equal by experience
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst (at least 5 years), preferably with a focus on product and pricing catalogue management.
• Experience with product information management (PIM) systems is a plus
• Background that comprises both solid business understanding as well as high level understanding of high-quality digital product delivery
• Strong communication skills – English
• Excellent verbal and written communication (English), and ability to communicate and liaise with people at all levels in the organisation
