We are currently looking for an Automotive Engineer Join Alten’s international division and work alongside with some of the most talented engineers and technicians from all over the world. Responsabilities: Receiving the initial assembly defect (EMB) using a ticket system (e.g. tool TEVIS, FRAS etc.) from virtual and real back-up vehicles. Accompanying the vehicle construction in consultation with the start-up experts in order to discuss defects directly on the vehicle and thus enter into the solution finding process in a more targeted manner. Organisation of installation tests with all necessary departments (design, gateway, process planning, assembly and pre-series centre). Coordination with the necessary departments. The employee must convert the defects found into tasks and pass them on to the team and demand the results from the team members Requirements: German speaker (fluent) Experience with Truck assembly processes on the assembly line Ability to recognise initial assembly deficiencies and propose solutions Ideally good knowledge of MAN assembly processes on the truck assembly line and knowledge of the MAN vehicle portfolio/equipment variants Mobility for Munich (on average 6 remote days per month are possible, otherwise always on site) Service Provision: The work location is on-site at the client plant in Munich, where the work is to be performed. On average, six remote days per month are possible; however, due to the production-related nature of the work, the primary activity must be carried out on-site.
