IRUBIS is a young, growing biotechnology start-up specializing in monitoring and control of bioprocesses. We are building a state-of-the-art system, Monipa, to provide our biopharma customers with information about their bioprocesses in the lab, in the office, at home, and at any time. Currently, we are seeking an Engineer to bring our Monipa to new heights. Join IRUBIS and contribute to revolutionizing biopharmaceutical production!
Tasks
* Development of algorithms to predict process parameters of bioprocesses
* Deploying, maintaining, and monitoring of models on our Monipa systems
* Managing analytical projects and specifying necessary resources for that
Requirements
* Excellent knowledge in Spectroscopy (preferably mid-infrared), Statistics and Mathematics
* Experience with multivariate spectral data with focus on physics-based analysis rather than classical machine learning
* Basic knowledge in Python, especially NumPy and SciPy
* Passion for robust models in production
* Preferred qualifications: experience in agile software development and Git Version Control
* Work experience at least 2 years
* Proficient English language skills
Benefits
* Modern office space: centrally located in Munich
* Flexible working hours, a great team and flat hierarchies

IRUBIS is a company that specializes in mid-infrared (MIR) spectroscopy for bioprocessing. We have designed an instrument, Monipa, specifically for bioprocess monitoring and control. Monipa is based on MIR spectroscopy, making it possible to monitor multiple bioprocesses in real-time and continuously. Our instrument's applications are foreseen in both upstream and downstream bioprocessing. These include multiple metabolite monitoring and control in upstream processing. In addition, contaminant detection or monitoring of target proteins and excipients can be aided in downstream processing.
