Key responsibilities:
* You manage program along our entire IT landscape, and you are reporting directly into the Senior Manager Operational Technology IT with a dotted line to the Director of Transformation & Portfolio Management.
* Oversee the activities of the different projects that are meant to work towards achieving a common purpose around the IFCO Service Centers globally in regard to IT and make sure that project execution plans are established and executed.
* Liaise closely with business on a regular base and IT Leadership to full fill IFCO strategy regarding Service Center IT projects.
* IT supplier management across depots and monitoring and identifying cost improvements.
* Monitors and reports closely the project progress across in regard to depot portfolio IT related.
* Ensures deliveries are done in time and budget and ensures resource availability and planning.
* Identifies synergies to use across depots, always looking at the big picture and IFCO’s vison and strategy.
* Establish relationships with suppliers and partners to guarantee a qualified partner network which supports the company to fulfill the targets.
* You own operational and commercial responsibility throughout all project phases, starting with the preparation and calculation of the offer up to the handover to the customer's IT operations.
We expect:
* University degree in business informatics, business administration with focus on IT or comparable.
* Several years of experience working as a project manager in IT environment.
* Knowledge in IT infrastructure, shopfloor, and operations IT.
* Proficiency in various project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.
* Understanding of risk assessment, mitigation strategies, and contingency planning to ensure project success.
* Knowledge of quality assurance processes to maintain high standards and deliver products that meet or exceed expectations.
* Familiarity with budgeting processes and resource allocation techniques to optimize project outcomes within constraints.
* Understanding of IT infrastructure components, architectures, and systems to effectively plan and execute projects within IT environments.
* Ability to reach a quick understanding of customer requirements, accurately interpret underlying needs, buying behaviour, change drivers, influencers and direction.
* Ability to extract and define key drivers to customer’s decision-making process.
* Fluent in English; good understanding in German.
