You will be responsible for: Contributing to the sustainable growth of the revenue and profitability of our business. Providing scientific/technical and administrative support to the sales teams and to existing and prospective customers. Pre-sales support activities, sales alliance and solution selling in coordination with production, R&D, controlling, management and sales teams. Preparation of quotations, responses to large scale tenders and strategic commercial contracts in coordination with the sales teams. Business development activities including portfolio and product definition, product development, content creation, solution selling and pricing Taking an active role in monitoring the market prices, technologies and latest developments in genomics and proposing business strategy based on market trends. Liaising between Eurofins Genomics laboratories in Europe and other Eurofins entities and business partners. Representing Eurofins Genomics' capabilities and interests within the Eurofins Group, at conferences and exhibitions, and in relevant committees and organisations. Providing content for trainings, webinars, website or other marketing materials. Your Profile: You have a Masteru2019s degree or higher in biology, chemistry or related disciplines. You have a strong background in genomics and genomic technologies. Experience in oligonucleotide/gene synthesis and Next Generation Sequencing is a strong plus. You have a strong interest in sales and business development activities and are enthusiastic about growing the Eurofins Genomics business. You have strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills to interact with our clients. You are results and service driven with a high degree of direct accountability. You are self-motivated and proactive, a team player with strong interpersonal skills and energy. You are fluent in English and German (written and spoken). You will be willing to travel abroad, mainly in Europe. Travel frequency will be up to 20%.
