Responsibilities Strategic Planning: Translate demand forecasts into actionable supply plans, considering capacity, priorities, and maintenance schedules. Develop mid-to-long-term production plans, forming the foundation for monthly scheduling. Optimizing Production: Propose and implement plans to maximize production capacity, adjusting schedules as needed based on order changes, material availability, or capacity shifts. Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate closely with material call-off, transport planners, and Customer Care to align production capabilities with customer delivery timelines. Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels in line with policy, analyze supply data, and proactively manage stock at risk by initiating rework or adjustments. Procurement Support: Oversee raw material availability, manage purchase orders, and ensure procurement aligns with supply needs. Provide updates to purchasing and material call-off teams regarding availability and delivery options. Administrative & Problem-Solving Support: Handle administrative tasks like creating purchase orders and assist in resolving delivery issues. Escalate complex challenges when necessary. Professional & Personal Skills Education: Degree in Logistics or a related field. Professional Skills: Strong process orientation with a structured and analytical mindset. Decisive, result-driven, and solution-oriented. Language Skills: Proficient in written and spoken English and German. Computer Skills: Experienced in ERP systems (Infor M3 or similar), Proficient in MS Office Suite. Professional Experience: Minimum of 1 years’ experience in supply chain planning, ideally within the foodstuffs or chemical industry.
