with a focus on user support and client hardware support.
The district of Middle Franconia is a reliable employer of around 1,400 employees in a wide range of professions. In the administration alone, based in the Ansbach district town hall, it offers over 500 jobs. A further 900 employees work in the district's facilities at various locations in Middle Franconia.
In its cross-sectional function, the IT department takes on various tasks in the areas of IT infrastructure, application provision and support as well as on-site user support in the district administration and district facilities.
The position is assigned to Team 713 (IT Systems District Facilities). The office is located in the Tillycenter (90431 Nuremberg, Wallensteinstraße 61 / 63). The activities are mainly carried out at a campus of our Nuremberg facilities. However, there is also a wide variety of assignments in various centrally accessible locations.
Your tasks
Service commissioning and service operation of hardware and software
Software deployment via the strategic Matrix 42 platform, including packaging and distribution of security updates, first and second level support for IT systems and applications
Managing licenses and dealing with the license server and license management software
Support with IT security issues
Collaboration in continuous service improvement
Documentation of error messages and faults at the user help desk
Contributing to the development of practice-oriented IT solutions and their implementation
Active involvement in various interesting IT projects
Your profile
You have
successfully completed vocational training as an IT specialist (m/f/d) specializing in system integration or
an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience in the field of IT
Several years of professional experience in IT if possible
Good communication skills, enjoy dealing with people and have a confident demeanor
Goal-oriented, independent and proactive way of working
Strong quality awareness and a conscientious approach to work
Class B driving license
Also desirable are:
Strong expertise in the context of digitization as well as in process and project management
Good command of English
Knowledge of process-oriented working methods
