Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Inspector - Wesseling On behalf of a major EPC, WRS are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical & Instrumentation Quality Inspector to join our team on a contract basis in Wesseling, Germany. This position is 100% site-based and is open to self-employed professionals who possess the existing right to work in Germany. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring that construction activities comply with project quality requirements, standards, and specifications. The position is being offered on a 9 month contract, paying an hourly rate in Euro. Key Responsibilities Oversee Electrical & Instrumentation (including Telecoms) construction activities to ensure compliance with project codes, standards, and specifications. Conduct inspections, monitoring, and sign-offs to verify contractor work meets the required quality standards. Approve incoming electrical and instrumentation materials and equipment by assessing specifications, conducting visual and dimensional checks, and ensuring quality documentation is in place. Participate in Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) inspections, ensuring results are accurately recorded in the Completions Management System. Support the preparation and submission of project quality records. Monitor contractor and vendor performance, ensuring compliance with quality control objectives. Provide guidance, direction, and support to the Construction Management Team, Contractors, Vendors, and Clients on site quality requirements. Address and resolve site quality issues and deputize for the Quality Lead as required. Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards. Support Health, Safety, Security & Environment (HSSE) programs, ensuring objectives and targets are met. Attend construction, contractor, and third-party meetings as necessary. Candidate Requirements Fluent in German (spoken and written) with a good understanding of spoken English. Proven experience in Electrical & Instrumentation quality inspection within the petrochemical, oil, and gas industries. Recognized Quality certification in Electrical & Instrumentation. Right to work in Germany Further education in Quality Management is preferred; however, equivalent experience and training will be considered.
