Could you be the full-time Site Supplier Quality Manager (f/m/d) in Kassel we’re looking for?
Your Future Role
More than 35,000 locomotives have already travelled the world from Kassel. At Alstom's traditional site in Kassel, in addition to new construction, service for the well-known Traxx locomotive platform is playing an increasingly important role. Our corporate functions play a key role in supporting and continuously improving the performance of our sites. You’ll report to Site Quality Director and lead a dedicated team of 8 employees.
We’ll look for you to :
* Collaborate with SPQD and incoming inspectors to ensure that control plans are defined and registered in the ERP system.
* Ensure that inspection instructions/checklists are defined and made available to the incoming inspectors.
* Ensure that the Serial SQ Team on-site is responsive and efficient.
* Prepare reports and quality assessments for suppliers for top management on significant quality issues and action plans, including managing the red and yellow status of suppliers with current quality problems.
* Set quality commitments for suppliers in alignment with Alstom’s procurement objectives.
* Ensure appropriate risk management of supplier quality and provide specific mitigation plans.
* Ensure the execution of source inspections for less critical purchased parts (not in the supplier inventory).
* If necessary, ensure the coordination of project supplier quality activities for large projects, including setting up and maintaining the supplier list, prioritizing and coordinating the FAI activities conducted by the SPQD teams, as well as regularly communicating project supplier quality activities with the project team.

* Completed degree from a university or engineering school (Master's degree).
* Experience in industrial planning / Solid knowledge of MS Project and Excel.
* Understanding of the End-to-End (E2E) vision for the industrial planning process and the process impacts in ERP for procurement and manufacturing.
* Good knowledge in the field of ERP.
* Fluent in German; good English skills (minimum B2 level).
* Strong communication and collaboration skills.
