Position: Project Manager - Rail Infrastructure in Public Transport
Location: Karlsruhe and Hamburg, Germany

To be successful in this position, you should have successfully completed a degree in civil engineering, railway transport or a comparable course of study and have at least 3 years of project experience in the planning of rail infrastructure. Your New Role
1. Project management for the new construction, extension and conversion of rail infrastructure projects in public transport as well as cycle superhighways in national and international projects
2. Project-related personnel responsibility and budget controlling
3. Presentation of project results within the project and to the public
4. Support in the acquisition of new projects

Your New Team
Our team manages the public transport systems throughout Europe. This includes the construction of new rail systems such as the People Mover at Frankfurt Airport or the introduction of a high-quality public transport system in Kiel, comparing BRT and tram, as well as the expansion and renewal of existing public transport systems in Jerusalem and Berlin. The design and planning of cycle superhighways has also become more and more of a focus in recent years. To do this, we use the extensive experience of our colleagues from Scandinavia, where cycling has a modal split of over 50%. We look at mobility as a whole and develop integrated solutions in the areas of transport planning, infrastructure and operations/vehicles/systems.

12. Successfully completed degree in civil engineering, railway transport engineering or comparable courses
13. Good professional experience in project management and team management
14. Professional experience in planning light rail and tram projects
15. Experience with relevant software systems in the areas of CAD (e.g. PROVI, AutoCAD)
16. Good written and spoken German and English skills
17. High communication, presentation and budget management skills
