**Job Title:** Senior Social Scientist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Social Scientist to join our research team at Otto-Friedrich-Universität Bamberg. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting theoretical and empirical modeling of complex relationships between health and retirement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing statistical methods for data analysis
* Writing and publishing journal articles on research findings
* Assisting with project tasks, including communication with partner institutes and preparing meeting content
Requirements:
* Master's or comparable degree in sociology, political sciences, statistical sciences, demography, public health, or related subjects
* Prior knowledge of social and health inequality and social pension policy
* Above-average knowledge of data management and longitudinal and causal analysis, as well as writing scientific texts
* Very good computer, software, and English skills (C1)

Estimated Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
