THE ROLE & THE TEAM The Partner MarTech & Ops team, within Partner Marketing & Communications, is looking for a Marketing Technology & Operations Manager to support all Zalando partner-facing marketing and communications activities. Reporting to the Lead Partner MarTech & Ops, you will collaborate closely with multiple business and engineering teams across the organisation to define and translate business needs into innovative technical solutions and processes. The role requires a combination of technical expertise, analytical skills, and operational marketing knowledge to manage and optimize our marketing technology ecosystem, drive operational efficiency, and enable data-driven strategies to enhance our marketing efforts and drive business impact. WHAT WE’D LOVE YOU TO DO (AND LOVE DOING) Marketing Technology Management: Oversee and optimize the marketing technology stack; evaluate, recommend, and implement new technologies. Operational Efficiency: Develop and streamline workflows; create standardized processes and operational dashboards to automate campaign execution and reduce bottlenecks. Data Management and Analytics: Ensure data quality and integrity across marketing platforms; build and maintain data governance frameworks to provide actionable insights. Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams; act as a technical liaison between business and technology departments. Project Management: Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery through best practices. Lead adoption of marketing operations standards. WE’D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data & Computer Science, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing, focusing on performance marketing and conversion rate optimization (CRO). 1–3 years in marketing technology or operations roles preferred. Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot), data analysis tools (Tableau, Looker, PowerBI), API integration, and basic SQL. Strong understanding of web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics) and content management systems (e.g. Contentful, WordPress). Strategic thinker with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to translate data into actionable insights. Strong stakeholder management and excellent communication and presentation skills, with fluency in English (written and spoken).
