Purpose of Job
Within the framework of various projects, new testing methods and testing machines for prostheses, orthoses and exoskeletons are developed in the Verification department. As part of an interdisciplinary team, you will lay the foundations for realistic and meaningful tests of our products. You will support us from October in the development and programming of a gait robot, which is used to investigate functional properties of foot prostheses and orthotic systems.
Tasks
1. Programming of independent MATLAB applications for the evaluation of measurement data
2. Supporting patient measurements in the gait lab
3. Preparation of gait lab data for path planning and simulation
4. Development of software to control the gait robot using MATLAB/ Simulink
5. Development of test procedures in the fields of prosthetics and orthotics
Profile
6. Student (d/f/m) of an engineering course in the fields of medical technology/mechanical engineering/mechatronics/robotics or similar
7. Advanced knowledge in the use of MATLAB
8. Knowledge of the biomechanics of human gait desirable
9. Enjoy designing technical solutions in an interdisciplinary environment
10. Creative and goal-oriented thinking
11. Team orientation and very good communication skills
12. Independent, proactive and structured way of working
