Your mission
Locations: UK, Berlin, Munich
The Sales Director is a part of the Global Sales team, responsible for day-to-day management of expanding the Sales/Business Development success in the EMEA regional Sales region. The focus of the role is to develop and expand business opportunities for both the Government and NATO verticals. You will work closely with our Regional Sales Team, Regional Sales Engineering, Products & Services, and Sales Operations teams to ensure tasks are delivered in a timely manner with alignment to our company’s objectives.
This includes:
* Take a proactive role in developing the contacts across EMEA Government and NATO countries.
* Identify the right resellers that we should be working with to expand our business into the EMEA Government and NATO countries.
* Ensure we have a relationship with the direct end-users to help them fully understand their needs and position our solution accordingly.
* Updating CRM on a weekly basis to track contacts, leads, and opportunities created.
* Attend weekly team meetings with the VP Sales EMEA and CCO.
* Focus on developing MOUs with resellers in related countries ultimately leading to contract commitments for services.
* Representing the Sales Team at in-region customer meetings and events.
* Attending relevant conferences across the region to increase the awareness of our service offering (in coordination with the Marketing Team).
* Seek panel and speaking opportunities where possible.
* Achieving a deep understanding of Rivada Space Networks’ products, services, and solutions.
* Acting as a subject matter expert and provide guidance to our potential customers on the uniqueness and benefits of the Rivada Space Networks solution.
* Collaborating with Global Sales Engineering, Marketing Team, and Products & Services teams to provide customer feedback, drive product enhancements, and ensure the alignment of product roadmaps with customer needs.
* Participating and contributing to Global Sales, Regulatory, and Sales Engineering team meetings.
* Other ad-hoc duties or projects as required by VP Sales EMEA.
Reporting:
This role reports to the VP of Sales EMEA.
What you bring on the table
* Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Min Degree level standard achieved in either Satellite Communications, Engineering, or related field.
* Minimum of 10+ years of proven sales experience and target achievement.
* Strong background in the Government and NATO sector within EMEA.
* Demonstrated knowledge of both the Indirect and Direct channel.
* In-depth knowledge of satellite communications systems, including Ku, Ka, and L-Band services.
* Strong understanding of LEO/MEO/GEO satellite networks and the main operators and resellers throughout EMEA.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills in English, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
* Willingness to travel regionally and internationally and meet directly with customers and team members.
