This is an exciting opportunity to go beyond traditional strategy work—you will play a key role in identifying, structuring, and executing partnerships, leveraging M&A and leading strategic initiatives that fuel our growth.
Your Role & Impact:
You will lead our growth agenda, balancing market intelligence, strategic foresight and deal-making to ensure we stay ahead of industry shifts and capitalize on new opportunities.
You will report to the COO, mobile.de and collaborate with senior leadership to refine our strategy, strengthen our value creation plan and position our company as an industry leader.
Your Main Responsibilities:
1. Business Growth, Deal-Making & Value Creation
* Identify and execute high-value business opportunities, including partnerships, M&A (in collaboration with group M&A), joint ventures, and strategic investments to fuel growth and increase the value we provide to our customers and shareholders.
* Develop and cultivate relationships with key players across the industry, building a network for deal flow and strategic collaborations - in Germany and beyond
* Accelerate time-to-market for our strategic projects by proactively identifying opportunities.
2. Strategy & Market Positioning
* Monitor market trends, competitor moves and industry shifts to refine our strategic direction and main market convictions.
* Guide our strategic direction by synthesizing market intelligence, competitor insights, and internal data to shape high-impact decisions.
* Co-develop a compelling strategic narrative, both for internal alignment and external thought leadership, positioning us as a frontrunner in the market.
What You Bring:

* 10+ years experience in strategy, corporate development, M&A or business growth—preferably in tech, marketplaces, automotive, private equity or consulting.
* Experience in deal-making, partnerships, and executing strategic growth programs.
* Experience in market intelligence, competitor analysis, and strategy execution at a leadership level.
* Strong commercial mindset—ability to spot and structure high-value opportunities.
* Excellent stakeholder management—comfortable engaging investors, partners, and leadership teams.
* A collaborative leadership style, thriving in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, connecting insights with action.
* A network builder—deep industry connections are a plus.
