ABOUT THE JOB
We’re on the lookout for a passionate and experienced Retail Development Manager to drive the expansion of our retail and B2B channels. This role is focused on identifying and executing new retail opportunities, developing business cases for new stores, and creating strategies that align with MIKUTA’s growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement business cases for each new store, ensuring strategic alignment with MIKUTA’s growth plans. Oversee the complete process from scouting locations to store launch.
2. Develop and execute a store-in-store strategy to expand MIKUTA’s presence in key retail locations.
3. Formulate and manage the strategy for partnering with e-retailers to maximize online sales channels.
4. Create and implement a B2B strategy that aligns with MIKUTA’s vision and growth objectives.
5. Track and analyze retail expansion performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
6. Work closely with the marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure a cohesive approach to retail and B2B growth.
7. Willingness to travel as needed to manage retail expansion and B2B partnerships.
ABOUT YOU
1. Proven track record in a retail development or similar role, preferably within the fashion or lifestyle industry.
2. Strong ability to develop and implement retail and B2B strategies that drive growth and align with the brand’s vision.
3. Proficient in analyzing performance data and using insights to inform strategic decisions.
4. Ability to lead initiatives and manage projects with minimal supervision.
5. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences and understanding customer needs.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
7. Ready to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
8. Self-driven with a hands-on mentality, capable of working independently and taking initiative.
9. Comfortable with regular travel to oversee store expansion and develop B2B partnerships.
