Job Description The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As an AOEM Key Account Sales Leader for Automotive Aftermarket Division(AAD) in EMEA, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by: Leading and growing share of 3M’s Automotive Aftermarket Division product portfolio at the Automotive Original Equipment Manufacturer (AOEM) key accounts in EMEA Engaging AOEM European collision repair /service engineering subject matter experts(SME’s), product design engineers, and materials engineers to develop new product and business model opportunities at all levels including direct interface with AOEM Service Repair Engineering, Service Repair Training Centres, After sales & Service Marketing, Product Development Engineering, and Materials Engineering groups. Leading the creation of 3M product callouts, recommendations, endorsements, and spec-in’s into AOEM vehicle repair manuals, procedures, technical bulletins, which will enable the implementation of AAD solutions in the aftermarket service repair business in EMEA. In addition, will lead/coordinate sales plan development & local execution related to the prioritized AOEM spec’d in SKU’s through respective EMEA certified repair networks Supporting the global AOEM team in creating local country material specification approvals and the sales pull through of global spec-in’s and global opportunity replication of AAD solutions. Execute local spec-in in EMEA and replicate/share global spec-in opportunities as well as identify new project pipeline for each AOEM using CRM Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who meet following minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited university (preferably engineering or science) Fluent in German & English; other languages are a plus Substantial automotive and/or industrial sales experience Combined experience developing applications in a specification driven business with Automotive OEM’s, industrial products in Automotive OEM’s, and/or in the collision repair channel/network Experience in long-term selling to large, global, complex and multi-disciplined key accounts Ability to collaborate with internal teams to deliver timely and responsive customer service. Additional knowledge / nice-to-have skills / preferred qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Substantial Automotive OEM/Collision Repair selling experience Technical background with experience in adhesives, coatings, paints, and/or abrasives Experience developing business in a specification driven business with Automotive OEM’s and/or collision repair channel/network Experience with Salesforce (or other CRM) and ability to execute standard customer data analysis in Excel Job specifics: Location: Germany Travel expectations: May include up to 25% travel in EMEA Relocation: Not authorized Hybrid/Remote Work Location Working pattern: Full time Does this opportunity and our innovative 3M culture align with your career aspirations?
