Business Development Director - DACH
As two leading CDMOs come together, this is a rare opportunity to join an organisation benefitted by a long-established reputation and significant backing. As Business Development Director, you will play a crucial part in driving growth for the organisation’s CDMO services across the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to:
1. Identify and develop opportunities with prospects and targets.
2. Build and nurture relationships with new and current customers.
3. Execute strategic sales plan to meet and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
4. Collaborate with internal teams, including project management, quality assurance, manufacturing, and technical teams.
5. Maintain detailed reports and manage CRM tools.
6. Stay on top of market trends, regulatory changes, and the competitive landscape.
You
To help propel this organisation forward under a new identity, you will bring:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
2. Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or sales, specifically within CDMO or pharmaceutical manufacturing services.
3. Excellent sales, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
4. Proficiency in English and German.
