Sales Development Manager (m/f/d)
As part of our European growth, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Development Manager (m/f/d) to partner with our Professional Brand LiftMaster (B2B) Sales Director to drive growth. This role focuses on optimizing sales processes and strategies, including outbound prospecting, and can be based either in our Saarbruecken office or as a hybrid role within Germany. This position may require business travel (15%) to partners and customers throughout Europe.
Your Tasks:
Primary Focus: Devotes approximately 80% of the time to engaging with new customers:
* Lead Generation: Identifies and qualifies pan-European prospects, passing high-value opportunities to Business Development Managers in the field.
* Market Insights: Shares customer and market insights to address challenges and present tailored solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
* CRM Management: Utilizes CRM to track activities, owns CRM metrics for the PRO sales team, and periodically reports on the prospect and sales pipeline and success rates.
* Collaboration: Works closely with Finance and Inventory teams to improve sales forecasting and inventory accuracy.
* Manage the cross-functional implementation and monitoring of standardized sales processes and guidelines and drives process optimization and automation in sales to increase sales efficiency.
* Leads coordination of new customer onboarding materials from end-to-end, including customer presentations, quoting, and promotional materials.
* Understands inbound and outbound call-center dynamics and how to efficiently manage staffing, themes, and order metrics. Proactively seeks insights and openly shares them with greater team to improve the business.
* Mentored by the Director of Sales and New Business Development, actively seeks to move into a supervisor or managerial position to grow the team.
Your Qualifications:
* Completed degree (Bachelor) or comparable education.
* Several years of professional experience in Sales (B2B) (2+ years)
* Experience with Customer Relationship Management Tools (preferably HubSpot or Salesforce).
* Fluent knowledge of English, German, and French, any other European languages is an advantage.
* Strong communication and a growth mindset with persistence facing rejections or setbacks.
* Highly motivated with good planning, organization, and prioritization skills.
* Customer Focus: Good in listening, documentation, and communication of information.
* Proactively seeks answers to move business situations forward, and holds deep convictions about continuously improving processes and ways of working, with the ultimate goal of delivering the best customer experience possible.
