After extensive training, you will take over the following tasks
1. Manage the recruitment and hiring process, from drafting job advertisements to onboarding the candidates
2. Provide guidance and support to line managers and employees on HR matters
3. Prepare employment contracts, visa applications, employment pass extensions, salary and promotion letters as well as monitoring leave or absence
4. Create and regularly update HR work procedures and the employee handbook
5. Identify training providers and organize trainings for our team in Southeast Asia team
6. Contribute to strategic HR projects, including the establishment of a second production facility in Malaysia and the implementation of HR software
7. Conduct research about compensation & benefits
8. Perform ad-hoc HR tasks such as managing our insurance package, cooperating with universities, conducting disciplinary actions, etc
Your skills
9. 5+ years of HR experience in Singapore (Experience in Malaysia is a plus)
10. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Labor Law, HR, or a related field
11. Strong proficiency in English (both oral and written)
12. In-depth knowledge of Singaporean Labor Law (Familiarity with Malaysian Labor Law is advantageous)
13. Excellent MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and proficiency in MS Teams
14. Willingness to travel as required
