For the Aesculap division at the Tuttlingen location, we are looking for a Head of Business Development (f/m/d) - Robotic Surgery in our Global Marketing team for the Robotic Surgery area.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
* You will take on the role of a mentor and coach for your team and promote cross-regional exchange within the Robotic Surgery business unit
* Your tasks include operational support and further development of key markets in the Robotic Surgery business field, taking into account the corporate strategy
* Together with your team of Business Development Managers, you will be responsible for significantly shaping the expansion of the Robotic Surgery business field, including the further development of sales organizational structures
* Together with your team, you will develop and create sales and marketing concepts and implement all sales and marketing activities in cooperation and close coordination with the local sales and marketing colleagues (country subsidiaries)
* As Head of Business Development (f/m/d), you will support the sales regions or the respective VP Sales in your core function and main task
* You will be responsible for the implementation of product- and indication-related sales competence, develop and monitor KPIs, and design measures to increase sales efficiency
* You will develop and implement the go-to-market strategy for new product launches
* You will further develop the sales cockpit reporting and continuously improve it with the goal of increasing sales excellence
* You will contribute to the creation of a service concept and monitor its implementation
* You will conduct market, potential, and customer analyses
* You will accompany surgeries and conduct training events, roadshows, and workshops
Professional Competencies:
* You have a degree in business administration or medical technology (DH, FH, or university)
* You have in-depth knowledge of the challenges in neurosurgery and spinal surgery and are able to master them professionally
* You have several years of professional experience (min. 5 years) in MedTech, marketing, and product management, preferably with a technical background
* You have a strong intrinsic motivation to understand the needs of customers and can communicate on an equal footing with neurosurgeons and spinal surgeons
* You are proficient in using MS Office and have good presentation and communication skills
* Fluent English skills, both written and spoken, complete your profile
