Job Highlights
* Take full responsibility for profitability and volume expansion of the Urethanes Systems product portfolio in EMEA (Europe, Middle-East, Africa) in line with our business strategy
* Lead, manage and develop a cross-cultural team of Sales Account Managers all over Europe
* Mentor Account Managers to identify new opportunities and strengthen existing accounts, ensuring a robust sales pipeline and strategic execution
* Manage relationships with key accounts to ensure long-term success and customer satisfaction
* Directly manage clients and key accounts in the German-speaking region
* Partner with Marketing, Production, Supply Chain and Procurement to align business objectives, ensuring seamless cross-functional coordination
* Develop new business opportunities and help to prioritize technology projects (opportunity pipeline), create product-, country- or customer-specific strategies and coordinate initiatives
* Oversee the entire order-to-cash cycle including order management, pricing, demand planning, credit and collections and contract negotiations
* Maximize profit and success of a very broad portfolio of products belonging to different end markets
* Provide clear guidance, foster collaboration and encourage professional growth while fostering a high-performing team
Requirements
* Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related science field – postgraduate business qualification (e.g. MBA or Postgraduate Diploma) is highly desirable
* Senior experience (minimum 10+ years) of proven sales leadership experience, preferably in the Urethanes market
* Extensive experience within complex engineering or chemical organizations, including familiarity with design & technical, procurement and service processes
* Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams
* Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset, paired with creativity and strategic foresight
* Solid understanding of distribution models, industry best practices and compliance topics
* Outstanding communication, negotiation and decision-making skills with the ability to engage effectively with internal and external stakeholders
* Fluent in German is essential; proficiency in English is mandatory and additional languages are considered an advantage
