Your Tasks
* Technical and disciplinary group management as well as organization and control of all development activities within the group Computational Vibroacoustics & System Dynamics
* Continuous optimization and further development of the Group in terms of expertise, personnel and structure
* Ensuring compliance with guidelines, processes and standards by the team members
* Ensuring turbine development in accordance with the product development process with regard to structural-dynamic and vibroacoustic issues using numerical methods (FEM) on high-performance computers with the aim of achieving the turbine tonality requirements
* Analyzing measurement data from test bench and prototype testing to enable a validation comparison with the group's simulation results
* Initiating cross-divisional internal and publicly funded research and development projects or contributing to them in the Group's area of expertise
* Supporting and participating in development and technology projects to ensure Group contributions in terms of quality, costs and deadlines. Preparation and review of technical documents
* Coordinating consistent objectives at the interfaces to other specialist areas in the role of internal service provider or internal customer
Your Qualifications
* Master Degree or PhD in engineering sciences with a focus on structural dynamics, vibroacoustics, machine acoustics or a comparable qualification
* Several years of professional experience in vibroacoustics and system dynamics as well as know-how in the areas of FEM and MBS programs or NVH tools / methodology
* First leadership experience or extensive experience in managing projects with a large number of preferably international interfaces and stakeholders
* Knowledge of the acoustic behavior of electrical machines, wind turbines or system dynamics is an advantage
* Strong communication skills, assertiveness, ability to work in a diverse / international team and a solution-oriented way of working
* Good knowledge of German and English
