Responsibilities:
* Performance Management: You monthly analyze business results for the Industrial Business Unit in Germany and its sub-segments, focusing on sales and operating results.
* Business Partnership: To the German Sales Director, the Plant Manager in Weinheim, and regional Business Unit Management members, you build up relationships and support as a trusted business partner.
* Strategy: You oversee the implementation of strategic business plans and key operational projects.
* Customer and Product Profitability: You review and stabilize customer and product profitability, track regional sales and material price developments, and initiate necessary countermeasures.
* Cost Controlling: You identify key cost drivers and opportunities for optimization within the business unit.
* Cost Optimization: You implement effective cost control measures and monitor the success of cost-saving initiatives.
* Planning: You lead the German coordination of the Business unit's operational planning process.
* Forecasting: You coordinate the forecasting for the German Business Unit, set budgetary targets with department heads, and track actual performance against these targets.
Qualifications:
* Qualification: You hold a university degree in Business Administration, Finance, Controlling, or a related field.
* Experience: You own 5 or more years of experience in Finance and Controlling, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Analytical Skills: With the help of your strong analytical ability, you can break down complex financial issues into key business drivers.
* Business Acumen: Your critical thinking skills enable you to bring practical solutions to business challenges, not just from a financial perspective but with a view of the business.
* IT Expertise: You understand financial management systems and processes, with experience in MS-Office (especially Excel) and SAP/BI. Knowledge of BOARD would be ideal.
* Industry Knowledge: Experience within the filtration industry, and knowledge of industrial industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory requirements are a plus.
* Leadership: You combine a hands-on mentality with strong result and goal orientation, capable to lead initiatives and drive improvements within your area of responsibility.
* Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (German at least C1 level, English B2) enable you to collaborate across functions and levels of the organization.
