The team is responsible for the development of individual parts and assemblies as well as the mechanical integration into the helicopter for the areas of interior equipment, environmental control system (heating, ventilation, air conditioning), landing gear and engines. We look after the entire helicopter portfolio. This includes both civil and military helicopters as well as demonstrators used for research. We support the entire helicopter life cycle, from the first prototype through series production to in-service support. The operational spectrum of our helicopters includes transport flights, rescue missions, police, search and rescue, VIP and military. The department is organized transnationally with locations in Marignane and Donauwörth. Collaboration takes place in so-called agile teams. There is close co-operation with other departments such as structure, electrics or statics. We also co-operate with various subcontractors. Your location At our Donauwörth site, located on the banks of the river Danube, we develop helicopters from the initial idea to the airworthy product. Watch them take off and touch down on our own on-site test airfield.
