ManTech is seeking a skilled, professional and service-oriented UEC Operations Manager II to join our vehicle sustainment team. The selected candidate will provide maintenance and logistics support to multiple families of vehicles globally on the Agriculture Cleaning and African Swine Fever Sanitization (ACAS) program. The UEC Operations Manager II supports operational execution of the ACAS mission, directly supporting the UEC Operations Manager III and respective Regional Support Team (RST) Leadership. The UEC Operations Manager II reports to the UEC Operations Manager III and supervises performance and execution of assigned RSTs. This position supports USAREUR-AF Execution Cell (UEC) activities, TOR Tasks and SubTasks as indicated in support of ACAS execution as part of the UEC Leadership capability area, and will support ACAS activities Important Note : Selected candidates without an ACTIVE German/E.U. Work Visa will be required to work the first 60 days in a Temporary role while obtaining their Visa. Once an E.U. Work Visa is approved, then you will be offered a Full-Time German Contract. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: - They collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to gather and analyze operational data, identify areas for improvement, and implement process enhancements. - They assist in developing and implementing project plans, ensuring that timelines and milestones are met. - They also play a key role in managing project documentation, tracking deliverables, and maintaining accurate records. They manage execution of assigned AGWASH/ASF tasks, ensuring efficient team assignments and availability of needed supporting resources. - Coordinating with the ACAS Coordination Cell (ACC), they execute planned AGWASH/ASF missions ensuring timely task completion and prompt release of cleaned/sanitized items to the operational forces. - They manage RST efforts, ensuring required equipment, materials, and labor is available to ensure assigned military vehicles, equipment, containers, and cargo are free of prohibited and restricted plants, animals, and plant and animal products. - They ensure ASF sanitization of material prior to crossing partner nation borders within Europe or leaving the European AOR. - They manage RST efforts to execute CSR assignments, ensuring project, logistics, military materiel agricultural cleaning, pathogen sanitization, and inspections are completed as directed by assigned CSRs - They ensure sufficient maintenance support (staff, equipment, supplies, and materials) is assigned to complete required vehicle power pack removals and installations incident to CSR activities. - They manage all RST operations in the absence of the incumbent UEC Operations Manager III. Proactively supports the ACAS Safety Plan. Required Qualifications : - BA/BS degree (Permitted experience exchange: High School and 6 years of additional experience or Associate's Degree and 4 years of additional experience may be exchanged in lieu of a required Bachelor's degree) - 5 years of experience (Permitted education exchange: A candidate holding a relevant Master's degree may be granted 2 years' experience credit for that extra education. A candidate holding a relevant PhD degree may be granted 4 years' experience credit for that extra education.) - Three (3) years of position specific relevant experience - Valid Drivers License - Experience with organizational effectiveness and operations management. Familiarity with industrial quality control processes and inspections. - Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data analysis tools. Preferred Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Management or related field. Experienced as an Operations Manager in an automotive or defense industry. - Experienced in organizational effectiveness and operations management. - Familiarity with business and financial principles and practices and working knowledge of budgets, forecasting and metrics. - Certification, experience, training with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management; ISO 22301:2019 Business Continuity Management; and ISO 31000:2018 Risk Management. Experience as military operations officer or SNCOIC (G-3/S-3/G-4/S-4). - Experience as Production Control / Operations lead for manufacturing/Production or Logistics company. Clearance Requirements: - Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance. Physical Requirements: - Must be able to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch and kneel. - Must be able to push, pull, and reach. - Must be able to work with computers and CRTs, and type on a computer keyboard.
