Responsibilities
Make an impact As Director of SIOP, you are responsible for overseeing Swisslog’s sales, inventory, and operations planning process on a global level. This role involves creating and executing plans that optimize the production, inventory, and distribution of goods and services. By ensuring alignment between the sales forecast, inventory levels, and production schedules you help us to meet our customer demands efficiently.
1. Develop and Manage SIOP Process : You lead the development and implementation of the SIOP process globally.
2. Forecasting and Demand Planning : You create accurate demand forecasts, align them with Supply Chain (product manufacturing/assembly) and analyze sales trends and market data to adjust forecasts as needed
3. Inventory Management: You optimize inventory levels to balance customer service requirements with cost efficiency.
4. Production Planning : You coordinate with Supply Chain to develop production/assembly schedules that meet demand forecasts while maximizing resource utilization.
5. Performance Metrics : You establish and monitor KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the SIOP process and drive continuous improvement.
