The Hydrogen Team of Smartenergy Germany is going in its expansion phase. The current Team is on the successful path to develop its first batch of Hydrogen production plants. We are looking for a motivated self-driven Project Development Manager who has the motivation and spirit to jointly continue our successful development path.
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Originate, develop and monitor projects with the aim to produce Hydrogen and its derivatives.
* Identify and secure/acquire areas suitable for the construction of H2 projects.
* Develop and responsibly grow and own a project pipeline through proactive and independent direct approach.
* Coordination and implementation of project development in an international and interdisciplinary team.
* Support the management in negotiations by preparing decision templates and reports.
* As a representative of Smartenergy, represent and negotiate the projects before authorities and other public bodies.
* Development and control of supporting local marketing strategies.
* Support the management team in negotiations, preparing investment memos & reports and conducting due diligence by ensuring projects meet financing and technical requirements.
* Select and manage local businesses to partner and consultants in order to deliver projects to Ready to Build (RTB) stage.
YOUR PROFILE / REQUIREMENTS
* Fluent in German (ideally mother tongue).
* Fluent in English (Company language).
* Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in the Hydrogen Business or Project Development in utility scale renewables.
* Experience with German Hydrogen framework/legislation, permitting process.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
* Apple user.
DESIRABLE SKILLS
* Desire to build an innovative Solar PV business.
* Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines and budgets.
