THE ROLE & THE TEAM This role is pivotal in leading the design and advanced analysis of digital media tests (including A/B tests, Brand and Conversion Lift studies) that enhance our evidence based digital media strategies. This role is essential in shaping our media investment decisions by building a structured, data-driven testing roadmap that uncovers true causal impact and incremental uplift from digital media activities. This person will work closely with Digital Media, Marketing Analytics, and Measurement teams, applying scientific experimentation to inform budget allocation, optimization strategies, and creative performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong data science background, with expertise in marketing experiments, test-and-learn methodologies, and statistical analysis to validate the real business impact of media investments. They will also ensure that insights from tests are accurate, statistically significant, and actionable, directly influencing our digital media planning and optimization. Incrementality Testing & Experiments’ Design Own and drive the testing strategy for digital media, ensuring experiments answer critical business questions on incremental impact and media efficiency. Define clear hypotheses, test structures, KPIs, and statistical methodologies to ensure valid, actionable outcomes. Design incrementality tests (causal inference, time-based holdouts, A/B tests) across key platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, etc.) with the alignment on the timeframes with the Media Analytics team. Provide clear guidelines to the Digital Media team on the setup and execution of the tests Partner with Full Funnel Marketing and Media Analytics team to establish best practices and frameworks in causal inference, holdout methodologies, and regression-based measurement. Partner with Design & Content teams to test content effectiveness and drive data-backed creative iteration. Stay at the forefront of media measurement trends, data science methodologies, and marketing analytics innovations, bringing new testing approaches into our ecosystem. 2. Analysis & Insight Generation Analyze test results to determine statistical significance, incremental impact on awareness and consideration metrics, as well as long term business impact, and potential media efficiency improvements. Propose optimisations of the digital media planning to increase its effectiveness by identifying true impact vs. attributed performance across channels. Develop frameworks for ongoing test result aggregation, benchmarking, and meta-analysis. Communicate data-driven insights and clear recommendations to the digital media leadership team, influencing budget decisions and strategic planning. Collaborate with the Analytics team to validate findings with advanced media mix modeling and/or attribution studies. 3. Testing Roadmap & Governance Develop a prioritized testing roadmap aligned with digital media and Full Funnel goals, budget cycles, and innovation needs. Create a structured framework for test prioritization, execution, and documentation, ensuring efficient scaling of learnings across the business. Maintain a centralized knowledge hub of past tests, insights, and guidelines for future experiment designs. Establish best practices in test design, audience segmentation, and measurement methodologies. Educate stakeholders on incrementality measurement vs. platform-reported attribution. WE'D LOVE TO MEET YOU IF YOU You are a Data-Driven Experimentation Expert with hands-on experience in marketing measurement testing, specifically incrementality and optimization testing. You have a Marketing Analytics Background, with a strong understanding of digital media measurement, attribution challenges, and media optimisation strategies. You are a Proven Problem-Solver, able to translate business questions into structured experiments that deliver clear, actionable insights and communicate complex data in a compelling way to influence leadership decisions. You have 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, media measurement, or data science, with a focus on incrementality testing and media performance. You have deep expertise in test-and-learn experimentation, A/B testing, Lift Studies, and causal inference methods, along with experience working with large-scale digital marketing data across key platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, Programmatic, etc.). You possess strong knowledge of statistical testing, regression modelling, and marketing impact measurement, with proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other analytics tools (a strong plus).
