As a Territory Accounts Manager, you are responsible for selling Nutanix Products and Solutions through Channel Partners and interacting directly with customers. You will also be working closely with a Sales Engineer. Your role Develop and execute a structured territory and coverage strategy to maximize market penetration and revenue growth within the public sector. Demonstrate strong experience in both direct sales and channel sales, leveraging partnerships to drive joint success and expand market reach. Utilize a consultative selling methodology to deeply understand customer challenges and provide tailored solutions that drive long-term value. Build credibility and position yourself as a trusted advisor to customers by offering strategic insights and guidance beyond product sales. Develop and maintain comprehensive account plans to drive engagement with both existing and new customers, ensuring long-term relationships and revenue growth. Strong understanding of public sector procurement processes, including tendering, RFPs, and compliance requirements. Knowledge of key industry trends, regulatory landscapes, and funding mechanisms that impact public sector purchasing decisions. Establish and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders across government agencies, municipalities, and public institutions to drive strategic engagements. Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline management, and strategic planning to meet and exceed revenue targets. Work closely with marketing, presales, technical teams, and partners to drive demand generation, customer success, and solution adoption. What you will bring Proven track record in public sector sales, with experience in both direct and channel sales models. Strong expertise in territory planning, account management, and consultative selling. Deep understanding of public sector procurement, tendering processes, and regulatory frameworks. Ability to develop and execute long-term sales strategies while managing short-term revenue goals. Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills. Experience working with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators to drive joint business growth. Proficiency in sales forecasting, pipeline management, and CRM tools. Work Arrangement Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.
