Executive Director (all genders) EMEA Operations Airbag
Working hours: Full-time
What you can change — your duties
* Overseeing the EMEA Operations Airbag in terms of maintaining stable production that produces parts on time and with the necessary quality.
* Ensuring production processes are aligned with internal and customer requirements, following legal and environmental responsibilities.
* Preparing and monitoring of the Airbag Assembly P&L, as well as ensuring that cost targets are met for each production area.
* Consistent reporting about the progress of running projects and potential obstacles.
* Assess global production trends, integrating technology, especially AI, legislation and optimize our resources towards our innovation strategy.
* Implementation of efficiency measures to secure the operating result in cooperation with other departments.
* Taking responsibility for successful production launches.
* Lead and develop a large team, guiding them towards success and fostering a culture of innovation and high-performance, while maintaining an open and team-oriented working atmosphere.
Your qualifications
* Master´s degree in relevant engineering area or related field required.
* Several years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership role.
* Proven experience in the automotive or automotive safety industry, with specific knowledge in airbag production or similar high-stakes production environments.
* Demonstrated success in driving process improvements, cost efficiencies, and quality enhancements.
* Experience in managing budgets, P&L, and financial planning for manufacturing operations.
* Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
* Profound understanding of production processes, automotive industry standards and regulatory requirements.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
* Strategic thinker as well as an action-minded problem-solver experienced with appropriate methodological competencies.
* Outstanding intercultural communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels.
* Adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.
* Fluency in English; any other language is considered advantageous.
* Willingness to travel.
