Job purpose/role
Join our dynamic New Asset Management Desk (NAMD) team at Allianz, where we focus on the implementation, administration, and operational support of non-listed, high-volume alternative assets, especially private market funds, for Allianz group entities worldwide. We are committed to driving process resilience, automation, and digital transformation in the implementation and life cycle of alternative assets.
Key responsibilities
* Executing investment lifecycle activities of high-profile investments with precision, while upholding high-quality standards and rigorous controls
* Develop, enhance, and optimize business processes and tools, including IT services and governance aspects.
* Support project activities and the rollout of services to further Allianz entities.
* Drive process resilience, automation and digital transformation in the implementation and life cycle of alternative assets.
* Foster effective collaboration with various group functions and international stakeholders
Key requirements/skills/experience
* University degree in business administration, economics, or mathematics, with a focus on finance/investments.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in the finance industry.
* Extensive experience in managing and executing operational workflows in complex process environments.
* Experience in alternative assets is a plus.
* Knowledge of digital tools (e.g., O365, PowerBi, Python, CoPilot) and expertise in transaction, payment, and accounting systems (e.g., eFront, SAP) is an advantage.
* Possesses a strong problem-solving ability and an analytical mindset.
* High level of collaboration attitude, customer and team orientation.
* Strong result-orientation and a "getting things done" mentality.
* Proficiency in German and English (spoken and written).
