We are currently looking for an Interim Group Accounting Specialist/Consultant/Manager (m/f/d) to support our Finance department in our HQ in Flensburg for a period of 4 to 6 months.
This is how You Make a Difference
* Consolidation:
o Align internal and external consolidation model and historical data including IC reconciliations.
o Adjust and optimize current consolidation model.
o Initiate framework for group accounting policies including method for foreign entities on handling both local GAAP and group GAAP (HGB).
o Implement consolidation tool (Lucanet) for the group to be used by HQ and all subsidiaries including solution for IC reconciliation at group level.
* Team support to German finance team:
o Support German Team during absence of German Finance Team Lead to secure daily operation and timely Month end closing process for German entities.
o Secure finalization of audit process and external reporting for 2024 for German entities and Group.
o Clarify and finalize bookings at group level related to foreign entities that have been sold or closed.
* Cash management and forecasting for German entities and at group level.
* Support CFO on process for refinancing of maturing group debt.
You are

What you Bring to the Table
* A degree in finance and preferably experience from auditing.
* Significant work experience and expertise in managing consolidation at HQ in an international company with foreign entities.
* Delivering accurate financial internal and external reporting.
* Willingness to support the team on questions in relation to their daily operation.
* Strong English and German language skills (written and verbal).
* Experience from working in a project driven business environment and knowledge of consolidation tools like Lucanet is also an advantage.
