If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you We are looking for aCountry Finance Managerto take full accountability for the local finance compliance in our Central Europe countries; Germany, Austria, Belgium and the Netherlands. You will be part of our global Country Finance organization consisting of experienced finance professionals located in other Kalmaru2019s countries. As the Country Finance Manager, you are a first point of contact in local tax, statutory, audit and financial risk management related matters. You also work closely with our compliance partners and various other internal and external stakeholders. Youu2019ll be the go-to finance expert, supporting local management and business controllers in achieving financial excellence. Based in the vibrant city of Hamburg, Germany, this role offers the opportunity to collaborate across borders, with some travel required to our key locations in Central Europe. Main tasks and responsibilities Compliance & Efficiency: Be accountable for local finance and tax compliance as well as external financial audits in good relationship with the compliance partners and auditors Collaborate & Influence: Coordinate tax and statutory outsourcing engagement and the external financial audits from a country perspective. Act as a finance partner and a mediator to different stakeholders; Kalmar Finance Services, compliance partners, group functions, business controllers, local management and auditors Timely & Accurate Reporting: Support and cooperate with Kalmar Finance Services to ensure efficient and high quality finance and accounting services including deployment of harmonized financial accounting and control procedures and processes Support Treasury & Tax Functions: Provide regional support to Kalmaru2019s in-house tax and treasury functions Drive Continuous Improvement: Participate in finance transformation initiatives, improving processes and ensuring best practices. What youu2019ll need to succeed Education: University degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience: 7 years of relevant finance experience Strong knowledge of German GAAP (knowledge of other local GAAPs is considered as an asset) Good knowledge of IFRS and Kalmaru2019s global financial systems (SAP, HFM). Skills & Competencies: Strong organizational, coordination, and prioritization skills Solution-oriented mindset with a proactive approach Excellent communication and negotiation skills Fluent in German and English.
