Right now, we’re looking for a new colleague to join our EMEA Business Development Team in the position of Regional Business Development Manager, Automotive. Responsibilities Main responsibilities: You will be responsible for the achievement of new business revenue in the Automotive sector. In this role, you will need to identify new business opportunities, improve profitability, generate revenue, and help the business grow, by: Identifying potential Automotive sector customers across Europe Building a robust sales pipeline to deliver sales targets Developing a go-to-market strategy and material to engage with target customers Attending face to face customer meetings across Europe Supporting the Customer Implementation to successfully onboard new customers into APL Logistics Provide insight into Regional Customer and Competitor developments in the European Automotive sector Manage sales leads from our Global network and align effort with our parent company KWE as and when relevant Regular updates of the CRM - Sales Force - throughout each customer engagement phase for visibility and accurate reporting Qualifications What we are looking for: A successful track record in Supply Chain & Logistics new business sales, with at least 10 years of experience - Automotive sector experience a must Experience in successfully delivering value-added supply chain management & logistics solutions to win new business Fluency in German and English is a must Advanced communication and interpersonal skills Strong research, prospecting, and negotiation skills Ability to successfully network and engage at all levels within an organisation Strong time management, organizational, and planning skills Ability to work well on your own and within a team What's in it for you: 13th salary Sales incentive scheme Company pensions scheme (bAV) Flexible working times & a hybrid work model Regular trainings and excellent development opportunities within APL Logistics globally Working in an open team with a supportive working atmosphere Office location in the center of Hamburg (Altstadt)
