The mission hast started. We proudly announce that in our Battery Valley we are starting our own battery cell production and the ramp up of our worldwide headquarters for global cell manufacturing. The CTO organization takes care of the battery cell development. Our responsibility includes research, predevelopment of materials and components, series development, prototyping, testing and analysis of battery cells.
How you will CELLebrate
* Developing methods to analyze battery testing data to support battery development for e-mobility applications
* Implementing software to monitor battery testing and identify electrochemical battery properties
* Designing methods for automating planning, data analysis and test reports
* Taking on a leading role in the full life-cycle of the software, from design to development, testing, maintenance and improvement and support the team
* Bridge the gap between domain expert and other teams, ensuring seamless integration of requirements into the development process
* Developing, implementing and supporting strategic projects and partnerships
* Interdisciplinary cooperation with internal development teams and external partners
What you need for our CELLebration
* Successfully completed (under-)graduate degree in computer science, mathematics, chemistry, materials science, physics, engineering or a comparable qualification
* Interest in developing batteries for the next generations. Basic knowledge of electrochemical systems and willingness to dive deep into the topic
* Excellent programming skills in Matlab and Python (numpy, scipy, pandas etc.) for data processing
* Experience in writing efficient algorithms using Matlab is a plus
* Experience with the organization of data in tables and data structures (e.g. SQL) and basic knowledge of SQL-queries
* Experience with plotting and complex visualizations of data and related frameworks (Plotly, Bokeh, knowledge in PowerBI is a plus)
* Knowledge about clean-code principles (e.g. SOLID) and software design
* Proficient English skills
* Expert skills in English or German

* Ability to grasp new concepts quickly and ability to work on several projects and tasks in parallel
* High analytical competence
* Above-average ability to work in a team
* Knowledge in the fields of Li-ion technology and/or electrochemistry
* Experience with PySpark and/or Databricks
* Experience with electrochemical simulations and related software (e.g. Comsol)
