Company Summary : A leading manufacturing in building materials located in The Greater Frankfurt area is currently undergoing an exciting transformation and is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to join their team. The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for:
* Leadership & People Management: Develop and manage a high-performing maintenance team, focusing on motivation, training, and professional development. Create an environment that encourages continuous improvement and excellence in execution.
* Strategy & Planning: Lead the development of the maintenance strategy, ensuring alignment with the company’s overall objectives. Develop long-term plans for asset reliability, efficiency, and risk management.
* Team Development: Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation. Coach and mentor team members to reach their full potential while addressing skill gaps and implementing training programs.
* Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and health & safety, to ensure efficient communication and alignment of goals.
* Performance Management: Set and monitor performance KPIs for the maintenance team, tracking progress and implementing corrective actions where necessary to improve efficiency, productivity, and reliability.
* Budget & Resource Management: Oversee the department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and managing expenditure on tools, equipment, and repairs.
* Compliance & Safety: Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, industry standards, and environmental policies. Actively promote a safe working environment and lead safety initiatives within the department.
* Continuous Improvement: Drive maintenance excellence through continuous evaluation of processes, introducing new techniques and technologies to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
* Maintenance Operations: Supervise all aspects of preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure minimal production downtime and maximize equipment lifespan.
The Maintenance Manager should have the following qualifications:
* Proven experience in maintenance management, ideally in a manufacturing, industrial, or production setting.
* Experience in implementing and managing maintenance strategies, processes, and systems.
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
* Fluent in both German and English (written and spoken).
