Collaboration: Work closely with development, design, quality, product management, and sales teams for seamless project execution. Strategic Sourcing: Identify and select strategic suppliers, fostering sustainable relationships with innovative partners. Cost Considerations: Analyze manufacturing processes, considering economic aspects, and contribute to value analysis, target costing, and vertical integration decisions. Supply Chain Excellence: Build a robust supply chain, evaluate multi-source scenarios, and manage purchasing-relevant adjustments, analyze make-or-buy scenarios. Contract Expertise: Collaborate with the legal department to draft supply and cooperation contracts, non-disclosure agreements, ensure adherence to standard and project-specific components, as well as to existing intellectual property. Milestone Ownership: Ensure compliance with project milestones, cost targets, and quality objectives. Qualifications: Degree in business administration, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering with economic qualifications, or similar qualification with technical background. Experience in technical purchasing particularly in industrial (hydraulic industry) or automotive sectors desirable In-depth knowledge of various production processes and materials (especially steel), along with project management and strategic purchasing methods. Strong negotiation abilities, coupled with cost awareness and technical know-how. Strive for continuous improvement, challenge the status quo, and contribute to the company's success. Business fluent in English and German; knowledge of other foreign languages is desirable. Willingness to travel at least 20% to drive project success.
