Location: ERL S SP 9 Mode of Employment: Full-time / Fixed Term A Snapshot of Your Day As a member of a dedicated team, you will work on the development and modeling of future technologies for our electrolysis products for the generation of green hydrogen for the energy transition. Within the electrolysis cells, an exciting interplay of various transport processes occurs, which affect performance. You will work on simulating multiphase flow and heat transfer in three-dimensional space. How You'll Make an Impact Research and implementation of various multiphase flow models Testing for efficiency and robustness of the simulation Presentation and discussion of the results within the team Coupling the flow simulation with heat transfer Fully coupled thermofluidic simulation of a PEM electrolysis cell Validation of the simulation with experimental data Conducting model parameter studies What You Bring Currently enrolled in a University to undertake a master's degree program in mechanical engineering, physics, chemical engineering or any other similar fields Experience with CFD tools, particularly STAR-CCM Knowledge of water electrolyzers or fuel cells In-depth knowledge of thermodynamics Ability to conduct scientific studies and effectively document results About the Team Our Transformation of Industry division is decarbonizing the industrial sector.
