Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure that service activities are carried out effectively according to ABB's standard processes, quality standards and safety guidelines to the satisfaction of our customers. On a daily basis, you will support routine maintenance, provide remote technical support and act as a technical point of contact. You will also demonstrate your expertise by proactively working with customers and ABB teams to ensure customer needs are met and service quality is maintained.This role contributes to the Analytical Measurement business at our Frankfurt location. Key stakeholders include both internal and external customers, ensuring high quality support and service for our continuous gas analyser products.You will be mainly accountable for:•Providing technical support for ABB technicans and channel partners for service tasks such as installation, commissioning, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting technical issues through remote support across various service categories.•Performing ABB service training as technical expert to teach ABB technicians, channel partners and customers on the functioning and handling of ABB gas analyzers.•Taking part in development projects as an link between development and technical service to prioritize service interests at an early development stage.Join a forward-thinking team where every day brings new challenges and opportunities for growth. Qualifications for the role
* You are highly skilled in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing gas analysers, with hands-on experience in the industry.
* You have at least 2 years of experience in technical support, working as a Technical Support Engineer or as a field technician, ideally with expertise in gas analyzers.
* You have ideally some experience in Salesforce and possess strong presentation skills, with a collaborative and solution-focused mindset.
* A completed degree, apprenticeship, or technician qualification in electrical engineering, mechatronics, chemistry, or a related field is required.
* You are at ease communicating fluently in both German and English.
